Description
Sultrimix Injection
Sultrimix is indicated for combating: Pneumonia, Bronchopneumonia, Bronchitis, Enteritis, Gastroenteritis, Peritonitis, Mastitis, Metritis, Colibacillosis, Septicemia, Phlegmon, Abscesses, Wounds, Prophylaxis and therapy of surgical infections in livestock.
Composition
| Each 1 ml contains : | |
| Sulfadimethoxine -Na | 200 mg |
| Trimethoprim | 40 mg |
Dosage and Administration
Administered by Intramuscular, subcutaneous or slow Intravenous Injections
- Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: 10 ml – 20 ml/100 kg bodyweight daily for 3 consecutive days.
Contraindication
- Do not use in case of, Sulphonamide intolerance, Severe Hepatic or Renal dysfunction.
Precaution/Withdrawal
- Meat from treated animals shouldn’t be used during treatment and within 12 days from the last treatment.
- Milk from treated animals shouldn’t be used during treatment and after 12 milkings.
Storage
- Store at a temperature below 30 ˚C.
